The Maserati GranTurismo heralded the turning point in Maserati’s fortunes. Unveiled at the 2007 Geneva Motor show this stunning 2 door Coupe offered seating in comfort for four adults.
Initially launched with a 4.2 litre normally aspirated V8 engine designed in conjunction with Ferrari. Offering a near perfect 50/50 weight distribution, this practical car offered full sports car dynamics whilst still retaining a sense practicality. Following its huge success Maserati went on to launch the GranTurismo 4.7 S Automatic derivative in 2009. Power came from an enlarged 4.2 litre block, which produced 440 bhp, resulting in a 0-60 time of 4.9 seconds, and on to an impressive top speed 188 mph.
