The Lotus Evora was first unveiled at the 2008 British Motor Show. It was based on the first all-new vehicle platform from Lotus Cars since the introduction of the Elise in 1995. The name “ Evora” keeps up the tradition of Lotus cars beginning their model names with the letter “E”. The name is derived from the words evolution, vogue, and aura. The Evora is currently the only Lotus car offered in a 2+2 configuration, which is made possible by its larger proportions in comparison to Lotus’s existing, track focused, offerings.
The Evora offered exclusivity in a competitive market flooded by cars such as the Porsche Cayman. The car was available from launch with a 3.5 litre V6 petrol engine, which produced 276 bhp and an impressive 350 N/m of torque but in 2010 the Evora S hit the market producing 345bhp. This lively power plant propelled the car from 0-62 mph in just 4.6 seconds and on to a top speed of 172 mph.
The Lotus Evora S offered here at Hofmann’s is a 2011 “60 plate” which has covered a mere 23,405 miles. Finished in Carbon Grey with Black Recaro interior. Boasting a full Lotus service history last carried out by ourselves in March 2018 this car has over and above the standard specification Tech Pack, 19/20” Forges Wheels, Metallic Paint, Recaro Front Seats, Sports Pack and Xenon Headlamps.
As with all our cars here at Hofmann’s the car has undergone a comprehensive pre sales inspection by one of our Lotus trained technicians.
All vehicles supplied through Hofmann’s have funding options available, are all warranted and part exches welcome.
