Detailed overview
The 570S Spider
Introduced in 2017, the 570S Spider brought open-air motoring to McLaren's Sports Series without compromise. It shares the coupe's carbon fibre MonoCell II chassis, which needs no additional strengthening when the roof is removed, so the Spider keeps the rigidity, balance and precision that made the range so widely admired. The two-piece retractable hard top opens or closes in around 15 seconds at up to 25 mph, and with the roof raised the Spider matches the coupe for outright performance.
Behind the cabin sits McLaren's M838TE 3.8-litre twin-turbocharged V8, producing 570PS and 600Nm through a seven-speed Seamless Shift Gearbox. The result is 0-60 mph in 3.2 seconds and a top speed of 204 mph. Just as importantly, the 570S Spider is a genuinely usable supercar, with a compliant ride, good visibility and a front luggage compartment for weekends away.
This Car
First registered on 14 September 2018, this Spider has had just two registered keepers. Its service record has been maintained entirely within the McLaren main dealer network: McLaren Birmingham in 2019, 2020 and 2021, McLaren Ascot in 2022 and 2024, Stratstone McLaren Ascot in 2025 and, most recently, McLaren Bracknell in May 2026. The MOT runs until May 2027, with the latest test passed without advisories. A full history check shows no recorded finance, no write-off and no mileage discrepancies, and there are no outstanding recalls.
Elite Ventura Orange is one of the most attractive and recognisable colours in the McLaren palette, and here it is set off by Stealth-finish forged wheels and McLaren Orange brake calipers. Inside, the By McLaren SD4 interior pairs black Alcantara with contrasting orange detailing and stitching, carbon fibre interior components and MSO Defined McLaren Orange seatbelts.
The highlight of the specification is the MSO Defined Titanium Super Sports Exhaust, which gives the V8 a richer and more characterful voice, joined by carbon ceramic brakes and the vehicle lift, which makes speed bumps and steep driveways far easier to manage. Standard equipment includes adaptive damping with Normal, Sport and Track modes, McLaren Brake Steer, launch control, IRIS navigation on the 7-inch portrait touchscreen, DAB radio, dual-zone climate control, cruise control, keyless entry and start, full LED headlights and a glass wind deflector.
A low-mileage, two-owner example with a comprehensive McLaren dealer history and a superb colour and specification, this is one of the most rewarding open supercars of its era. The private registration ML57REN is available by separate negotiation.
