Finished in Starlight black metallic over full black leather and having covered 34332 miles, this car benefits from a comprehensive service history file that has always been completed by Lotus main agents or specialist. Central Lotus carried out the latest service in April 2019 at 33251 miles, during which the cambelt, water pump and spark plugs were all renewed, along with a new oil sump pan (known issue due to corrosion)
The underside of the car is as clean as the bodywork on this car, with renewed rear suspension, powder coated suspension arms all round, polished undertrays and bolts swapped out for stainless steel items. Some tasteful upgrades have been added by the previous owner including Milltek sport exhaust and K+N filter, one off billet gear knob and Pro Alloy radiator fitted along with new A/C Condenser.
The Europa S is a derivative of the Lotus Elise and Exige to the extent that the cars have variations of the same bonded aluminium chassis but the Europa bears a separate Lotus model designation due, in part, to its longer chassis and completely new design. The mid-engine two-seat coupé has a 2.0 L Turbocharged engine, producing 200 PS or 197 hp and 272 N⋅m of torque, coupled to the Getrag 6-speed manual transmission. This allows the car to accelerate from 0–60 mph in around 5.5 seconds, and 0–100 mph in around 13.8 seconds. The Europa S can attain a maximum speed of 143 mph.
