In 2004, the series 2 Exige was introduced. It started life as a 1.8 n/a 16v DOHC Toyota engine producing 190bhp. 2006 saw the introduction of the supercharged variant with more powerful engines arriving as time moved on. The S240 is up 9% on power compared to the first supercharged variant meaning the car can hit 60mph in 4.0seconds and continues to pull all the way through to 148mph.
