The Aston Martin V8 Vantage was first introduced in 2005 to compete head to head against the Porsche 911. It was the second car to be built at Aston Martins purpose built Gaydon facility. This iconic car used the same technology as its “Big Brother” the DB9 and was built around an aluminium riveted and bonded VH (vertical-horizontal tub). This front/mid engine two seat sports car was fitted with the all new 4.3litre V8 engine producing an impressive 380bhp. This engine coupled with a six speed gearbox and rear transaxle setup made for one of the most balanced cars on the market with a near 50/50 weight distribution. As with all hand built Aston Martins only the finest materials were used.
