Aston Martin Specialist

in Henley On Thames

Hofmanns is an independent specialist offering servicing and repairs for Aston Martin cars. We are a family run business, founded in 1949 by Fred Hofmann right here in Henley on Thames and serving customers throughout Oxfordshire and Berkshire. Our workshop is walking distance to the train station or town centre, and we have easy road links to both the M4 and M40 motorways.

Fred Hofmann started his career with Bentley Motor Cars but soon diversified into other prestigious British Marks including Aston Martin whose cars we have been welcoming through our doors for over 50 years.

To save your pocket our rates are less than the main dealer and we offer fixed menu pricing for the current range of Aston Martin cars. If you have a prized classic Aston Martin model our experienced technicians have the knowledge with general maintenance through to complete rebuilds. We use Aston Martin equipment and diagnostics, along with genuine Aston Martin parts that are covered by a 2-year warranty. Aston Martin specific oils are fitted, and we are able to officially record everything in your digital service book all without effecting your manufactures warranty.

We offer all the usual services you might expect from a well-equipped garage from tyres, brakes & clutch, crash repairs and diagnostics through to engine and chassis rebuilds for classic cars. We are unashamedly ‘old-school’ in that our technicians are experts and craftsman, able to conduct complex repairs and even fabricate entire new parts.

If you are short on time, we have a collection and delivery service, or you can take advantage or our fleet of modern courtesy cars. If it’s a simple job, we can offer while you wait appointments with refreshments and we will carry out a complimentary wash and vacuum after work is complete.

Lee

Technician

Lee is Hofmann’s longest standing employee with an innings spanning some 26 years. During his apprenticeship, he cut his teeth working on Bentley, Jaguar and Aston Martin cars from pre-war Vintage through to modern. He has an extraordinary skill set from engine/gearbox/axle building through to welding, machining, and fabrication. He is responsible for the Ecurie Ecosse cars we build in house and is our go-to guy for any complicated Classic or Vintage work. He also enjoys Motorsport, not only does he work on customer race cars but he competes in hill climbs with his own Peugeot 205 GTI.
